The province has issued a request for proposals to develop the former Trinity Loop Amusement Park site just outside the historic Trinity North community.
Proposals will only be accepted for tourism-related establishments such as RV parks, resorts, campgrounds, cottage rentals or tourist attractions. The successful proponent will have the opportunity to purchase the ten hectare site and receive a Crown grant. The Trinity Train Loop is a unique part of the province’s historic railway line and the only railway loop of its kind in North America. Engineers found a way to build the line that spirals around a circular pond to take it over a steep incline down to the shoreline.
