According to Charnel Hattingh, Fidelity Services Group, group head of marketing and communications, remote jamming is nothing new, but it's not getting old for criminals either. It is on the increase.Remote jamming isn't limited to car theft. Criminals use it for break-ins, hijackings, and stealing cargo. They target public areas where victims are less vigilant. Double-check locked doors: Don't assume your car is locked after pressing the button. Pull a handle to confirm.
