Correctional Services claims that the reason behind the lengthiness of the probe of escaped prisoner, 'Facebook rapist' Thabo Bester, was due to the complicated nature of the investigation.
Some of the officials contracted to private security company G4S, who worked at Mangaung Correctional Centre when convicted rapist and murderer"Facebook rapist" Thabo Bester escaped, have been suspended and dismissed, the department of correctional services has said.
To date, some officials in the employ of G4S at Mangaung Correctional Centre have been dismissed and some suspended due to the escape, DCS spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo told News24.
