EXCLUSIVE: Princess Eugenie has been somewhat absent in recent years, spending much of her time abroad in Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two sons
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are reportedly planning a return to the UK following her revitalised role within the Royal Family.
OK! recently revealed how King Charles’ slimmed-down monarchy was now so thin that there weren’t enough royals to go around, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were being lined up for a number of engagements to help. Eugenie’s increased involvement with the Royal Family has already started to show as just last week, the princess interviewed former Prime Minister Theresa May for her Floodlights podcast run by her Anti-Slavery Collective and has made visits to schools to talk about the initiative.
“She felt abandoned by the family and needed a break from the constant negative attention her mother and father were receiving,” the source said. The princess and her family spend time at Ivy Cottage in Kensington Palace whenever they are in London or at Frogmore when they visit their parents at Windsor.
