Princess Anne was told 'you don't look like a princess' by a young girl at an RDA event and offered a brilliant response to the remark
A few years ago, Princess Anne had a witty retort ready when she was told she didn't look like a princess. The comment was made by a youngster at an RDA event, to which Princess Anne reportedly responded that she was glad to hear it.
"And she was introduced to her and said 'This is the Princess Royal' and she said 'You don't look like a princess'.""Princess Anne said 'Thank goodness for that, I'm so pleased to hear that.' Everyone laughed at her response and she just literally takes things in her stride." The chair of RDA UK, Ms Vega Lozano, expressed her honour at having Anne attend the event, stating: "It's a huge honour for the princess to come to the RDA as her only event since the accident."
