La princesa japonesa Kako, nieta del emperador Naruhito, inició el viernes una visita oficial a Perú para celebrar el 150 aniversario de las relaciones diplomáticas bilaterales.
Kako, de 28 años, viajará el fin de semana a los Andes del sur para conocer Cusco, la capital de los Incas. En esa ciudad recorrerá el templo más importante del imperio, un edificio de piedra llamado Qoricancha, que significa en la lengua quechua 'sitio de oro'. La princesa llegó a Lima en la madrugada del viernes en su tercer intento desde la ciudad estadounidense de Houston.
En Lima, Kako asistirá a una ceremonia por los 150 años del inicio de las relaciones diplomáticas entre Perú y Japón que comenzaron en 1873 con la firma de un tratado de amistad, comercio y navegación. En la capital peruana la princesa Kako, quien es funcionaria a tiempo parcial en la Federación Japonesa de Sordos, visitará un colegio para escolares con problemas de audición.
