The Earthshot Prize was launched in 2020 by Prince William to search for ‘innovative solutions to the world’s greatest environmental challenges’, as reported by The event also plans to bring world-leading innovators, investors and philanthropists together, with the aim to ‘drive forward the restoration and protection of the planet’.
The finalists hail from all over the world, including Kenya, Ghana, the UK, the USA, Kazakhstan, Ecuador, Nepal, Australia, France, Costa Rica and Indonesia.
