Prince William and Prince Harry have released a rare statement, sharing plans to honour their late mother, Princess Diana. It is the first time the princes have spoken together since Harry and Meghan's move to the US, reportsIn their statement, they shared plans to install a statue of Princess Diana on 1 July 2021, which would have been the Princess of Wales' 60th birthday.
The statue has been commissioned by Ian Rank-Broadley, who also produced the image of their grandmother Queen Elizabeth, which has been used to decorate all British coins since 1998., where Diana lived with her sons up until her death. William and Harry said they hope it will allow those who loved the princess to"reflect on her life and legacy".
