The Duke of Sussex has officially confirmed that, honouring his commitment as patron, he will be at the WellChild Awards in London on 30 September. Harry's been championing the charity for a decade and a half, uplifting children facing grave health challenges and their families.

Just days before the WellChild Awards on 28 September, Charles and Queen Camilla are set to attend the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh for its 25th anniversary. The Telegraph reports that the King is likely to stay in Scotland after the event. Meanwhile, Harry's event is in London, meaning they'll be hundreds of miles apart. But there's still time for plans to change so the two can meet.
However, at the time, Harry's statement suggested that his father was too preoccupied to meet with him, and later reports claimed that the King had offered Harry a place to stay in one of the royal residences.
