In his 90-minute explosive interview with ITV's Tom Bradby, Prince Harry described the heartbreaking moment he saw photos of his mum Diana following the car crash that killed her
Prince Harry has described the harrowing details of the moment his private secretary shared photos of his mum Princess Diana following the fatal car crash that took place on 31 August 1997.
"Another thing that seems to have stayed with you and I think will stay with anyone who reads the book, is you get to the moment where you demand of Jamie, your private secretary, that you want to see the secret government file," Tom said. "And your description of that is searing." "I didn’t know what the lights were. I couldn’t imagine. I came up with all sorts of supernatural explanations."
The Duke shared how grateful he is that his private secretary took out the more graphic photos, but added: "There were other photographs, um, that would probably show my mother's face and blood.Elsewhere in his memoir, Harry said that during a 2007 visit to Paris he was driven through the Pont de l’Alma tunnel at the same speed as the car that was carrying Diana and Dodi Fayed before it crashed.
