Prince Harry is returning to the United Kingdom for a special Invictus Games Foundation 10 anniversary celebration, three months after he visited his father, King Charles in February.The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry will be returning to the United Kingdom for a special event of the Invictus Games Foundation. The Foundation is celebrating their 10th anniversary. Prince Harry will be attending a “service of thanksgiving” at st Paul’s Cathedral on Monday 8 May.

The ceremony will mark “a decade of changing lives and saving lives through sport,” said a spokesperson for the Games. Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. The pair then moved to California, US, where they started a new life with their family. The Sussexes are parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet .This marks Prince Harry’s first visit to the UK since his visit in February. The Duke went to the UK to visit his father, King Charles after his cancer diagnosis. Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles had cancer via a statement.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” read the statement. Since leaving the UK, Prince Harry has attended only a few royal family events. So, this marked a significant moment for the family.

“I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”However, this also follows the news of King Charles returning to royal duties on Tuesday 30 April. King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla visited a cancer treatment centre to mark his first public duty since taking some time off.
