Prince Harry has opened up about how the birth of his first child has triggered missing his late mother, Princess Diana.
The British royal travelled to the The Hague, Netherlands on Thursday – three days after his wife, Meghan gave birth to their son Archie – for the launch of the 2020 Invictus Games one-year countdown.
"Harry talked about how having a small child was his new focus and new goal and I told him how a couple of months ago, I was struggling with my mental health but my wife’s pregnancy has given me a goal." In addition to bonding over the fact that they are both veterans and have a child , Harry and Dennis have both lost their mothers,"I told Harry about my mother and we talked about our shared experience of missing a mom. He said missing a mother is like missing some kind of security, how you need that as a son and it falls away when you lose your mother."
Dennis added that Harry went on to share that he doesn't"feel so alone" when meeting and hearing other people's stories about having lost someone.
