The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent a heartfelt message to the “Tiny Dancer” singer for being a great friend to them and their son and daughter.
“Hi Elton, we just wanted to say congratulations,” the Duchess of Sussex, 41, said in a special video message that was shared before the “Tiny Dancer” singer’s Los Angeles concert at Dodger Stadium Sunday night.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, then chimed in, saying, “Congratulations” before his wife added, “And we are just so proud of you. We’re so grateful that we were able to see you on your farewell tour also.”He also thanked him for being a companion to his family, including his late mom, Princess Diana, and son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, 1.“Thank you for being the friend that you were for my mum, thank you for being our friend,” the royal continued.
Though Elton is on his farewell tour, Harry noted that “this will not be your last gig,” adding, “We love you and congratulations on an incredible career.”Harry and Meghan share two children together, Archie and Lilibet.
