As well as revealing that the"transition" will officially begin on March 31, 2020, Meghan and Harry went into detail about a number of changes that are set to take place over the next year. Per their statement, the Sussexes explained,"Over the last month and a half, The Duke and Duchess have remained actively involved in this process, which has understandably been saddening for The Duke and Duchess and their loyal staff, given the closeness of Their Royal Highnesses and their dedicated team."
Clearly, stepping down as senior members of the royal family has been far from simple, with Meghan and Harry calling the process"saddening."
