According to reports King Charles could be interested in reconciling with his estranged son Prince Harry after tension has risen between the Firm in recent years
Rumours are swirling that King Charles is keen to "hit the reset button" and reconcile with Prince Harry, amid reports that the US-based Prince is looking to return to the UK.
The Daily Beast now claims that the King has a "strategic need" for reconciliation as it was suggested that the estrangement reflects poorly on him as the leader of the country. The source also claimed that King Charles once authorised a book by Jonathan Dimbley that "attacked his parents," and said that the family eventually moved on.It was also suggested that the "issue" with Prince Harry doesn't necessarily have to be ironed out straight away but instead "sorted eventually".
He said in Harry & Meghan though: "I've had to make peace with the fact that I'm probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology."
