Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's team release new statement on Netflix series
Brand new Netflix show 'Harry & Meghan' has got the whole world talking - but already, after just 24 hours, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had to defend it with a statement.
They also open up about their time in the royal family and how Meghan left her life behind as an actress to take on royal duties. "Any suggestion otherwise speaks to a key point of this series. They are choosing to share their story, on their terms, and yet the tabloid media has created an entirely untrue narrative that permeates press coverage and public opinion. The facts are right in front of them."
"We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.
