Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a new statement after Catherine, Princess of Wales, shared news of her heartbreaking cancer battle. Kate confirmed her diagnosis on Friday local time, two months after she was hospitalised for abdominal surgery. In recent weeks, she’s been the subject of widespread speculation due to her ongoing absence from royal duties.
The couple’s relationship with Kate has been strained in recent years following Harry and Meghan’s split from the royal family. Tensions rose further following the release of Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare, in which Harry spoke of his deep fondness for Kate. However, he stated that he felt her marriage to William would only deepen the rift he felt with his brother.
