However, there are conflicting reports suggesting that the monarch did offer to meet his son. It's reported by the Mirror that this offer was declined by the Duke. "If they were acting together you could create a situation where the King would be ignoring government restraints." Harry and his wife Meghan have been in Nigeria over the weekend, attending various events as part of their tour. The final leg saw the couple in high spirits at a charity polo match and gala fundraising dinner.
