Prince William and Princess Kate's eldest son George has had a private tennis lesson with Wimbledon hero Roger Federer thanks to his mum's sporty connections with the star
Prince George could be a Wimbledon champion in the making if Roger Federer has anything to do with it. The tennis legend previously opened up about his private lesson with the young royal, who has been playing the racket sport since he was five.
So it seems pretty obvious that Prince George inherited his mother's love of tennis, with the young prince having met the very well-known Wimbledon champ. The Princess of Wales would have racked up serious mum points by arranging for her eldest son to have a private lesson with the former tennis professional.
"I'm the only player he's ever met. Then you have a little head start in who is your favourite player." She has also had the honour of presenting trophies to tennis stars Novak Djokovic, Marketa Vondrousova, and Elena Rybakina. As patron, Kate typically attends the men’s and women’s finals and presents the winners and runners-up with their trophies.
