Kate Ames, Prince George chef, offers her Baller spaghetti sauce recipe. Ames started her Baller Food business out of necessity after suddenly losing her spouse last fall.
The Prince George Citizen asked several local chefs to offer our readers a recipe they can try over the holidays for something different to impress family and friends.1) Mince and sauté onion and garlic in a pot with olive oil. Stirring often. 2) Add marjoram, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, chilli flake and liberal amounts of sugar. Yes, I said sugar!
"It’s not really a recipe, but I’m more of a cook-to-taste chef. Although I’m learning to write things down as I collect my favourite recipes," she said.
