Gas prices at many local stations jumped about seven cents per litre Tuesday to 170.9, according to GasBuddy.com.

The cheapest gas in the city is 159.5 at Esso in Val Caron. The most expensive gas in the city is 171.9 at Norstar in Dowling. Gas costs 175.6 to 175.9 in Espanola. Sturgeon Falls prices are not available this morning, but were at 169.9 yesterday. The average price of gas in Ontario today is 162.4. The cheapest gas in the province is 120.0 in Thunder Bay. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 220.0 in Tara.
