The price of diesel fuel, furnace oil and stove oil has dropped in Newfoundland and Labrador during an unexpected price change on Aug. 6.ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The price of diesel fuel and oil have dropped in Newfoundland and Labrador during an unexpected price adjustment on Aug. 6.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Public Utilities Board dropped the price of diesel fuel dropped by up to 9 cents per litre, dropping the price to under $2 a litre in many areas of the province.On the island, stove oil decreased in price by 7.76 cpl.The next scheduled price change is Thursday, Aug. 11.
