Prey Star Amber Midthunder Knows the Power of Indigenous Streetwear

'Prey' actor Amber Midthunder is the star of the Indigenous streetwear brand Section 35's new campaign.

, who portrays the Comanche warrior Naru and faces off against the Predator in the film, continues to be blown away by the positive fan reactions. “My main focus was making sure we did a good job representing Indigenous people,” says Midthunder. “So now having people—and especially kids —come up to me and share what it means to them, is the most amazing and emotional experience. I couldn’t be more proud.

While Midthunder is still riding that blockbuster high from the summer, she’s now onto her latest project: Starring in a new fashion campaign for the Indigenous streetwear label, Section 35. The brand’s designer Justin Louis was drawn to Midthunder’s trailblazing Hollywood energy. “There’s a strength and natural presence about her and how she carries herself,” says Louis.
