Body image, fat phobia and dieting might seem like weighty issues for a jovial look at what it means to be overweight in a society that worships thinness.

As theatre performers and creators, Cheesman and Miranda see a great deal of irony even in their profession. Cheesman points out that seats in theatres are generally one size and that size does not cater to all bodies.Miranda has worked as an usher for ATP in the Martha Cohen Theatre and says “many times, people have come to me and asked if I could find them alternate seating where they would be comfortable.
In The F Word, fairy tales, lectures, dance and songs are infused with wild whimsy. Kathryn Smith composed the music for the songs Cheesman and Miranda have written, while Clare Preuss was their movement coach and Donna-Michelle St. Bernard directed the show.
