Public views are being sought by South Ayrshire Council.
Residents in Prestwick are being given the chance to help shape a "masterplan" for the town's future.
The public are being asked for their views on two studies which have been commissioned by Prestwick Civic Pride. The group would like these studies to be part of the masterplan. Prestwick Civic Pride’s second study is the ‘Prestwick Shorefront Enhancement Programme.' This includes proposals for improving access points at the promenade, activity areas and contains suggestions for the former bathing lake.
Councillor Alec Clark, Tourism, Culture and Rural Affairs Portfolio Holder, said: “There are sound proposals in these studies, but we need to give the public the chance to have their say as well. The masterplan will develop over time, but the most important thing is to keep dialogue open with residents as these regeneration projects could help define Prestwick for generations to come.”
