A yoga teacher who learned from yogis in India is set to host an all-day event in Plungington.Helen Frost runs Jyoti Yoga, teaching weekly classes in and around Fulwood, Cottam and Lostock Hall.Helen said: “Since the pandemic I’ve been back in my hometown of Preston and have started teaching here. I want to pass on the wisdom I’ve learned in India.”The Day of Yoga will take place at Plungington Community Centre.
Helen said: “The Day of Yoga will be a day of union with yourself. Yoga means union and when we are in alignment with ourselves we are in peace. “I’m inviting people to join me at the beginning of the year to connect to themselves, recharge the body and mind, and set a healthy intention for the new year. Self care is not an option.”There will be two yoga classes, meditation, pranayama, and a ceremony to set intentions for the year.
