'President Biden not expected to attend King Charles's Coronation' despite invite
President Joe Biden is not expected to attend the coronation of King Charles III, according to a source familiar with the planning.
The Telegraph, which was first to report the news, added that Dame Karen Pierce, the British ambassador to the US, and Buckingham Palace aides had held 'cordial and diplomatic' talks with the White House about the delegation. It was revealed that the prince along with his wife Meghan Markle had been invited to the Coronation despite their currently rocky relationship with the rest of the royal family.
Because of this, the Royal Family is said to have drawn up two plans for the the Coronation - depending on whether or not Harry and Meghan attend.
