Staff Reports Natalie Cole and Dahlia Ganz combined on a complete game one-hit shutout and 13 strikeouts and Wicksburg broke it open with four runs in the third and five in the fourth in beating Brantley 10-0 in high school softball action Thursday afternoon.

Zion Chapel 6, G.W. Long 0: Sydney Boothe pitched a seven-inning, two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and one walk and Riley Bannin was 4-for-4 with a run batted in to lead Zion Chapel, which improved to 12-0 on the season. Kennedy Ward picked up the pitching win, striking out seven over four innings. She gave up five hits and two runs with only one run earned.

Ashford 9, Northside Methodist Academy 4: Amiyah Lewis had three hits and two RBI as the Yellow Jackets scored six in the fourth inning in building a 7-2 lead.Baylee Brock went the distance in the circle, giving up eight hits and striking out nine.Rehobeth 5, Headland 1: Alex Cobb struck out six and scattered seven hits in going the distance to get the win in the circle.Opp 11, Straughn 0: Reese Cauley and Addison Moseley combined on a no-hitter for the Bobcats.

Andalusia 6, Geneva 3: The Panthers fell in a Class 4A, Area 3 game at Andalusia on Thursday, falling to 5-6 overall and 0-1 in area play.
