Lesufi said Mosimane should feel free to go to the province's schools to identify talent, and promised to support the coach. What else could we do to provide talented kids with opportunities?
Speaking at the media launch of the PMSS on Saturday in Sandton, Lesufi said the initiative’s founder, “The day belongs to you, coach Mosimane, and the entire PMSS team, the coaches and the personnel,” said Lesufi.“On behalf of the Gauteng provincial government that we have the honour of leading, whoever frustrates you, know that you will get excitement from us. We are ready to give you any form of support, any form of excitement. You can count on us.
Football is not only about the sport but also about building character in a person. We see it every day. The lesson we learn from football is that you can win and lose. Those are the lessons that I hope PMSS will impart., the programme aims to guide young players between the ages of six and 18 to become technically, intellectually and socially equipped to succeed in the competitive world of professional football.
