Manchester United ended Arsenal's perfect start to the Premier League season with a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday evening. SLInt MORE:
It was the Gunner who had the ball in the back of the net on 12 minutes when Gabriel Martinelli latched onto Bukayo Saka's pass and slotted past David de Gea, but the goal was ruled out for Martin Odegaard's foul on Eriksen in the build-up.
However, United bagged the opening goal three minutes later as a neat passing move ended with Marcus Rashford playing in Antony, who calmly slotted past Ramsdale on his first-ever appearance for the club. The visitors did get their reward on the hour mark when Dalot deflected Odegaard's pass into the path of Saka, who sent a first-time finish into the back of the net for his first goal of the season.
Mikel Arteta responded with a triple change for the final 15 minutes as Emile Smith-Rowe, Fabio Vieria and Eddie Nketiah were introduced as they went in search of an equaliser.
