Giorgi Mamardashvili has been named as the first potential arrival to Liverpool in the Arne Slot era
Liverpool have had an interesting summer transfer window so far, as they are currently the only club in the Premier League not to sign a new player. However, new coach Arne Slot is starting to shape his squad around his vision. The £27.5m sale of youngster Fabio Carvalho to Brentford was confirmed on Monday night, while it looked like Martin Zubimendi would be moving to Anfield .
And although Liverpool are clearly not in need of a goalkeeper right now, the loan market could be their way of finding Mamardashvili a brilliant move away from the club for a year if the star does sign with them this summer instead of seeing him sit on the bench for an entire season. There are, however, Premier League rules that restrict the number of loan deals that a club is allowed to do over a season.
