Premier Dennis King is seeking re-election for Brackley-Hunter River. ContributedBRACKLEY, P.E.I. — Premier Dennis King is seeking re-election in Brackley-Hunter River in the next provincial election.

King was first elected in 2019 and served as premier, executive council president and minister responsible for intergovernmental affairs, Acadian and francophone affairs and Indigenous relations."I will continue to work hard to earn the trust of the residents of the great people who call District 15 home as we continue to work to make our communities stronger and our province better," said King.

He touted several achievements while in office, such as initiatives to improve access to health care, increase the affordability of prescription drugs, provide a provincewide healthy school lunch program, increase the affordability of prescription drugs and more.“Islanders from all walks of life and different paths, who are pillars in their communities," said King."That excites me about the future for our province.
