Tom is believed to have died after a doctor misinterpreted a scan when he visited the hospital following a severe stomach bug that lasted three weeks.Moss recalled finding her partner "cold and stiff" when she tried to wake him up from his sleep. "I called 999 immediately. They asked me to pull Tom onto the floor and perform chest compressions," she told the court.She decried the overwhelming shock, trauma, and physical exertion of having to pull Tom off the couch and perform chest compressions at 39 weeks pregnant.“He won’t be there for any of her birthdays, he won’t ever be there on Christmas morning, and he won’t be there on Father’s Day,” Moss said.
