'Nothing negative to say'
It's no secret that many in the UK are bracing themselves for some pretty hefty winter fuel bills. The increase in people searching for low energy alternatives to their oven or hob is further testament to this fear.
Matt Manning, Group Carbon and Environment Manager at Currys plc, said: "We know that many of our customers across the UK will be deeply concerned about the increase in energy bills forecasted for 2022. At Currys, we want to ensure everyone has access to amazing technology that will help them save money long term."Crock-Pot's 1.8 litre cooker is ideal for students, couples or small families with shoppers saying it is "just the right size for 2 or 3 people".
Shoppers have already shared their joy after buying the cooker. One person wrote: "Takes up very limited space, so easy to clean and cooks very well. Nothing negative to say so far." Another said: "Perfect for meals for 2 and dishwasher proof," and a third added: "Heats quickly." Another added: "Very easy to use". Someone else said: "Perfect for just a couple of people, we’re hoping cooking low and slow will help with the up coming price hikes in electricity."
