Business brief | PPC picks up amid Zimbabwe boost, and Sibanye gets yet another asset
PPC jumped after informing shareholders its Zimbabwean unit was contributing to profits, while Sibanye-Stillwater has picked up yet another new asset.it would report a profit in its half-year to end-September, guiding headline earnings per share of between 25.5c to 26.5c, from a loss of 6c previously. It saw a stronger performance by PPC Zimbabwe, which had been hit by an extended kiln shutdown in the prior period.
