Poundland is opening some mega stores from March - full list of locations and dates
High street giant Poundland has excited shoppers with plans to open giant new budget stores across the UK. Shoppers looking for bargains have become more reliant on stores like Poundland, Home Bargains and B&M through the cost of living crisis, and look to budget retailers for both big-name and own-brand products that won't break the bank.
Poundland has confirmed the exact locations and opening dates for the planned stores. The new store in Crown Street, Glasgow, will become the largest store in Scotland at 18,380 square feet in size. It comes as part of wider plans for the budget retailer to open or relocate 50 new shops by the end of September this year. The huge expansion plans will see Poundland open half a million square feet of retail space and create up to 800 new jobs.
