Some Post Office customers in Polokwane, Limpopo, have expressed frustrations as they’re unable to access their funds.
The customers gather daily at the premises with the hope of being allowed to make withdrawals or move their funds to other institutions. They say that they’re unable to withdraw funds for the burial society due to the collapse of the Post Office.A member of the burial society, Annah Makgoba says despite completing the process to transfer their funds to another institution, nothing has happened.
“It has affected us badly because when we have to bury, we don’t have the agreed money to give to one of our members. We have those problems that when we have to bury, we have to skip work and borrow. I’m crying about the Post because since October when I tried to withdraw the money, the money could not come out. We have filled the forms, and they said the money will be sent to us, even now I have not got anything.
