According to initial reports to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, in total, the songs performed on the three-hour broadcast earned 28.8 million on-demand streams in the U.S. on Oct. 14-16 -- a gain of 15 percent compared to the 25.04 million streams earned on Oct. 11-13.In terms of sales, the collected tunes logged 48,000 in sales on Oct. 14-16 -- up 156 percent compared to 19,000 sold on Oct. 11-13.
The sales and streaming numbers include the original or hit versions of songs covered on the show but not brand new tracks like
