Widespread reports have indicated that Lampard has agreed to return to Stamford Bridge in an interim role until the end of the season, when Chelsea plan to hire a new permanent manager. And the report adds that ‘talks between the representatives of the former Bayern Munich coach and Chelsea are said to be positive’ with Nagelsmann making it clear to them that managing in the Premier League is ‘his next goal’.
