Popular Scarborough Japanese restaurant, Le Café Michi, to close at end of January
The restaurant has fared well among its customers, who gave it an overall rating of 4.3 stars on Google . “So many treasured memories. I’m so sad to hear this!!” one user commented on the Instagram post.
Jasmine Zhu, a local resident, has known of the restaurant for years. Its closure, she says, “means one less well-loved café in the neighbourhood, especially because quality Asian desserts are hard to find nearby.”
