'Pedro would do better than Joe on Tinder, no doubt'
Manchester restaurant Crazy Pedro’s has called out a rival store after owners claimed it took a ‘familiar’ approach to its branding.
The Welsh food truck in Merthyr Tydfil featured a very similar design of a blue-skinned man sporting a moustache, long pink hair and funky sunglasses, with bosses at the Manchester chain pointing out the ‘bad’ imitation of their own blue moustached man.Posting on Instagram, Crazy Pedro’s wrote: “Meet Crazy Joe's. Jesus this is bad. Crazy Joes - Crazy Pedro's From WISH. Look familiar? This has nothing whatsoever to do with Crazy Pedro's.
Since Crazy Pedro’s post, the Instagram account for Crazy Joe’s has disappeared with a notification now saying ‘Sorry, this page isn't available’ when you click on it. No other social media page is available for the restaurant. One even pointed out the Welsh truck hadn't even acknowledged Crazy Pedro's online, posting: "They don't even follow you back." The restaurant responded: "That hurts the most."
