A new trailer has just released for the fourth film in the Girls und Panzer: das Finale series. The movies, which are animated by Actas, have garnered some infamy for their long production schedules. Nevertheless, with the story of Ooarai Girls Academy's Tankery team finally continuing on October 6, fans will likely consider it worth the wait.

Other than Ooarai's battle against the Finnish-themed Continuation High School, screen time for the new film will also be split to show Kuromorimine's match against St. Gloriana. The dual perspective means Erika Itsumi's presence in the movies has been officially elevated to that of a secondary protagonist.
Girls und Panzer's New Film Will Test the Characters Without Their Leader The trailer, which can be found on the official Girls und Panzer website, focuses on a montage of battle scenes the franchise is best known for. Some show Ooarai and Continuation's teams still fighting in the snow swept battlefield that favors the latter team's Finnish tanks. Meanwhile, Erika leads Kuromorimine as its newest leader while fighting Darjeeling's St. Gloriana team in a desert environment.
The third movie of the planned six ended on a cliffhanger that surprised fans, giving Ooarai their toughest challenge yet. With the early defeat of Miho Nishzumi's tank, Ooarai will have to pull off a win without her Panzer or her battle tactics.
