Bosses said they had decided 'with a heavy heart' to close the bar and karaoke lounge
Gin Gin Bar on Milnrow Road in Shaw was described as the ward’s ‘premiere gin bars’ with more than 100 different gins for people to choose from. The bar had just recently celebrated its fifth anniversary having first opened back in March 2019.
The venue, just a short walk from the Shaw Metrolink stop, has now been listed for sale online where it has been described as a ‘quality, modern, and well appointed bar’. The sale, through Breakey & Nuttall, will include ‘all current fixtures and fittings’ - meaning it is hoped it will continue to be operated as a bar in the future.
One person wrote: “This makes me sad. One of the really nice places to socialise.” Another said: “This is sad news, going to miss it! Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories, I'm gutted to see you go.”
