Polytechnic Ibadan explains reasons for delay in students’ resumption
DAILY POST recalls that the students who were asked to proceed onBut, the institution is yet to ask the students to resume.
The institution in a statement signed by its Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Fawale, made available to DAILY POST on Friday, also assured stakeholders in the institution, particularly students and their parents that the institution will soon reopen for students’ activities. “The Management observed that there has not been electricity supply by IBDEC due to major electrical fault to the institution in the last three weeks which virtually makes resumption difficult as the institution cannot perpetually rely on diesel generated electricity which in all ramifications will not provide sufficient electricity supply for the students
“However, students are still expected to stay away from the institution until the management directs their resumption.
