Building off of nature and community, the new collab celebrates the quintessence of skateboarding
In a new capsule collection, Polo Ralph Lauren and Element Skateboards marry two very noteworthy specialties, fashion and skateboarding, while honoring the gathering of a community, and the magnificence of the outdoors. Taking design inspiration from the Ralph Lauren brand’s iconic Fall 1982 womenswear collection, the collection is a continued exploration of the American prairie look.
The product range for the collection includes a denim jacket, plaid shirt, chino pants, polo shirt, fleece sweatshirts and pants, printed tees, caps, and hard goods, including wheels, and five different skate decks made from 100% North American maple hardwood and are built using Element’s seven-ply construction. Knits are made with organic cotton and vegetable dyes, with denim constructed from recycled cotton.
