A number of X users backed Cilliers Brink to return as Tshwane mayor, however, his deputy from ActionSA Nasiphi Moya is set to succeed him.
Even though X users seem to overwhelmingly favour Cilliers Brink, it seems ActionSA’s Nasiphi Moya – who was his deputy – will be the mayor of Tshwane after a deal was struck between ANC and ActionSA, as85% voted in favour of Cilliers BrinkANC’s Kgosi Maepa who was tipped for the position after Brink’s ousting received only 1.7%“Bring back Mayor Cilliers Brink. We need a clean healthy and honest City. Working sewerage plant, future growth, no illegal tenders and no water tankers,” she wrote.
Christo Knoeteze also backed Brink saying there is only one person and his team who can fix Pretoria and that is Celliers Brink.Kaizer Chiefs have seen both Fernando da Cruz and Arthur Zwane leave, but could this mean they need new people in those roles?
