The awards ceremony, scheduled to take place in Cape Town on Thursday evening, will announce the winners in nine categories, including 2024 Team of the Year and Coach of the Year.
The Player of the Year features a tough choice between reigning World Rugby Player of the Year, Pieter-Steph du Toit, scrum boss Ox Nche, Bok centurion Eben Etzebeth, try-scoring phenom Cheslin Kolbe and midfield juggernaut Damian de Allende. In the Young Player category, flyhalf Sacha Fienberg-Mngomezulu and loose forward Cam Hanekom are likely to be the front runners, followed by Jordan Hendrikse, Henco van Wyk and Quan Horn.
