Police have warned 'no text is worth it' after a driver was fined £200 and slapped with licence points for being caught using their mobile phone behind the wheel.
Officers from the motorcycle unit were patrolling in Glasgow on Friday when they spotted someone using their mobile phone while driving. Posting about the incident on X, formerly known as Twitter, Road Policing Scotland said: "#NationalMotorcycleUnit out on patrol in Glasgow. Stopped this vehicle as the driver was using their mobile phone while driving.
"Don't use your phone while driving or you too will end up with 6 points & £200 fine. No call or text is worth it. #IsItWorthIt #DriveSmart #Fatal5"
