Police say a man was 'assaulted by a number of people'
Police have released images of two men they want to speak to after a man was kidnapped from his Hyson Green home and assaulted. Nottinghamshire Police says that the victim was taken on October 29 last year before being assaulted by "a number of people."
There were also threats made that his family would be harmed if he did not hand money over. The man eventually escaped and police arrested three men on suspicion of kidnap, false imprisonment and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Those men remain in custody but as the police investigation continues, images have now been released of two more people who officers want to speak to. Detective Constable Rebecca Brosgarth, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was a very serious and violent incident and we are determined to get justice for the victim.
“We need to speak to the two men pictured urgently as our investigation into the incident continues. Do you recognise either of these two men? If so call police immediately on 101, quoting incident number 841 of 29 October 2022, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
