Officers from Lancashire Constabulary were called to an address on Westmorland Avenue at around 3.35pm on Friday after receiving reports of the incident.
Four police cars and an ambulance were pictured at the scene. There have been no reported injuries at this time and a police investigation is still ongoing.Eyewitnesses report seeing three police vehicles, a North West Ambulance Service first response car and an ambulance outside the address on the road.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: "We were called to an address in Westmorland Avenue, Cleveleys, at approximately 3.35pm this afternoon to reports of an assault.LancsLive has contacted North West Ambulance Service for a statement.
